Tasting Experiences
We truly want you to have a memorable experience with us here at Upper Bench. As such, reservations are not yet required but very highly recommended. Of course, we understand those who wish to pop in for a quick tasting, which we will do our utmost best to accommodate.
Wine & Cheese Tasting
Seated Estate Tasting
(30 minutes)
Seated at a table on our intimate outdoor covered patio you will be guided through a tasting of four of our premium Estate wines, perfectly paired with two of our own handcrafted artisanal cheeses made onsite.
$25 per person, waived with a $50 purchase of wine per person.
Last seating is daily at 5:15pm.
Wine Tasting
Stand up bar side
(10 minutes)
Take a place at our indoor tasting bar where you will be tasting four of our newest and popular wines.
$10 per person, waived with a $30 purchase of wine per person.
Last stand up tasting is at 5:45pm.
To book your tasting email info@upperbench.ca. Please indicate the date, time and number of guests in your party. We require a credit card to hold your table. Tables will be held for 10 minutes after your reservation. We look forward to hosting you. Patio guests must be +19.
The Oven, our outdoor, covered patio restaurant serves Neapolitan thin crust pizza in our Forno Bravo oven. Our pizzas feature our onsite handcrafted cheese and Upper Bench cheese boards with fresh fruit. If you want to extend your visit and enjoy wine & food after your tasting, please indicate when reserving your tasting.
For same day reservations, call the winery we are open daily, 10am-6pm at 250-770-1733.
Please note that while our patio is 19+ only, we are able to accommodate minors inside our shop provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian of legal age.
Due to the intimate size of our space we may not be able accommodate groups larger than 8. We are unable to host bachelor/bachelorette party tours. Please email info@upperbench.ca for special requests.
Masks are now optional while in the wine shop and during tastings. We ask that you please respect the individual preferences of other guests and staff members.
